Chive and Shrimp Dumplings
Ingredients
- Chives 200g
- Shrimp 200g
- Pork 100g
- Dumpling wrappers As needed
- Ginger 1 piece, minced
- Garlic 2 cloves, minced
- Cooking wine 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
- Salt As needed
- White pepper powder As needed
- Cooking oil As needed
Steps
- Cut the chives into fine segments.
- Dice the shrimp into small pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chives, and shrimp.
- Add minced ginger, garlic, cooking wine, soy sauce, salt, and white pepper powder. Mix well.
- Place a dumpling wrapper in the palm of your hand. Scoop a spoonful of the filling and place it in the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the dumpling wrapper in half and press the edges together with your fingers to seal it.
- Starting from one end, pinch and fold the edges of the dumpling to create pleats.
- Arrange the prepared dumplings on a clean plate.
- Prepare a steamer and bring the water to a boil.
- Place the plate of dumplings in the steamer.
- Cover the steamer with a lid and steam for about 10-12 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
- Carefully remove the plate from the steamer.
- Serve the hot chive and shrimp dumplings and enjoy.
