Vinegar-Glazed Cabbage
Ingredients
- Cabbage 1 small head
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Ginger 1 small piece
- Vinegar 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Salt To taste
- Cooking Oil 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Shred the cabbage into thin strips. Mince the garlic and ginger.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the shredded cabbage to the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes until it starts to wilt.
- In a small bowl, mix together vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and salt.
- Pour the vinegar mixture over the cabbage and continue to stir-fry until the cabbage is cooked to your desired tenderness.
- Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences.
- Remove from heat and transfer the vinegar-glazed cabbage to a serving dish.
- Serve hot as a side dish or with steamed rice.
