Black Pepper Beef

Ingredients

  • Beef tenderloin 300g, thinly sliced
  • Green bell pepper 1, cut into chunks
  • Red bell pepper 1, cut into chunks
  • Onion 1, cut into chunks
  • Garlic 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger 1 piece, minced
  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking wine 1 tablespoon
  • Light soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Dark soy sauce 1/2 tablespoon
  • Chicken powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cooking oil as needed

Steps

  1. Tenderize the beef slices with the back of a knife, then marinate them with cooking wine, light soy sauce, and chicken powder for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok with some cooking oil, and stir-fry the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add the marinated beef slices and stir-fry until they change color.
  4. Add the green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and onion, and stir-fry evenly.
  5. Add black pepper powder and salt, and continue stir-frying until well combined.
  6. Pour in an appropriate amount of water and stir-fry until the beef is fully cooked.
  7. Add dark soy sauce, stir-fry evenly, and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Turn off the heat, transfer to a serving dish, and enjoy.
