Black Pepper Beef
Ingredients
- Beef tenderloin 300g, thinly sliced
- Green bell pepper 1, cut into chunks
- Red bell pepper 1, cut into chunks
- Onion 1, cut into chunks
- Garlic 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger 1 piece, minced
- Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Cooking wine 1 tablespoon
- Light soy sauce 1 tablespoon
- Dark soy sauce 1/2 tablespoon
- Chicken powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Cooking oil as needed
Steps
- Tenderize the beef slices with the back of a knife, then marinate them with cooking wine, light soy sauce, and chicken powder for 15 minutes.
- Heat a wok with some cooking oil, and stir-fry the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef slices and stir-fry until they change color.
- Add the green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and onion, and stir-fry evenly.
- Add black pepper powder and salt, and continue stir-frying until well combined.
- Pour in an appropriate amount of water and stir-fry until the beef is fully cooked.
- Add dark soy sauce, stir-fry evenly, and cook for 1 minute.
- Turn off the heat, transfer to a serving dish, and enjoy.
