Italian Penne Pasta
Ingredients
- Penne pasta 300 grams, cooked according to package instructions
- Olive oil 2 tablespoons
- Garlic 3 cloves, minced
- Cherry tomatoes 250 grams, halved
- Fresh basil leaves a handful, torn
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for garnish
Steps
- Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they start to soften and release their juices.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss well to coat with the tomato sauce.
- Cook for a few more minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Remove from heat and garnish with torn fresh basil leaves.
- Serve the Italian penne pasta hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
