Shredded Pork in Beijing Sauce

Ingredients

  • Pork 200g, shredded
  • Cucumber 1, shredded
  • Carrot 1, shredded
  • Beijing sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Cooking wine 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger to taste
  • Scallions to taste
  • Garlic to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil to taste

Steps

  1. Cut the pork into shredded pieces, and shred the cucumber and carrot as well. Set aside.
  2. Prepare a bowl of water and add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine. Soak the pork in the water for about 10 minutes to remove any unwanted odor.
  3. Heat a pan and add some cooking oil. Stir-fry the scallions, ginger, and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the soaked pork and stir-fry until it changes color.
  5. Add the shredded cucumber and carrot, and continue to stir-fry evenly.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and Beijing sauce. Stir-fry until the seasoning is evenly coated on the pork and vegetables.
  7. Add salt to taste and continue to stir-fry evenly.
  8. Turn off the heat and transfer the shredded pork in Beijing sauce to a serving plate. It is now ready to be enjoyed.
