Shredded Pork in Beijing Sauce
Ingredients
- Pork 200g, shredded
- Cucumber 1, shredded
- Carrot 1, shredded
- Beijing sauce 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
- Cooking wine 1 tablespoon
- Ginger to taste
- Scallions to taste
- Garlic to taste
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil to taste
Steps
- Cut the pork into shredded pieces, and shred the cucumber and carrot as well. Set aside.
- Prepare a bowl of water and add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine. Soak the pork in the water for about 10 minutes to remove any unwanted odor.
- Heat a pan and add some cooking oil. Stir-fry the scallions, ginger, and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the soaked pork and stir-fry until it changes color.
- Add the shredded cucumber and carrot, and continue to stir-fry evenly.
- Pour in the soy sauce and Beijing sauce. Stir-fry until the seasoning is evenly coated on the pork and vegetables.
- Add salt to taste and continue to stir-fry evenly.
- Turn off the heat and transfer the shredded pork in Beijing sauce to a serving plate. It is now ready to be enjoyed.
