Mapo Tofu
Ingredients
- Soft Tofu 300g
- Pork 100g (minced)
- Doubanjiang 2 tablespoons
- Chili Powder 1 teaspoon
- Minced Ginger 1 teaspoon
- Minced Garlic 1 teaspoon
- Cooking Wine 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Stock Powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Scallions to taste
- Cooking Oil to taste
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Cut the tofu into small cubes. Marinate the minced pork with cooking wine for a while.
- Heat some cooking oil in a wok and stir-fry the minced ginger and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the marinated minced pork and stir-fry until it changes color.
- Add the chili powder and doubanjiang, continue to stir-fry to evenly coat the pork with the seasonings.
- Add an appropriate amount of water and bring it to a boil. Then add the tofu cubes.
- Slowly bring it to a simmer, gently stirring to avoid breaking the tofu.
- Season with salt and chicken stock powder, cook for about 5 minutes to allow the tofu to absorb the flavors.
- Turn off the heat, garnish with scallions, and it's ready to serve.
